Candace

Candace is the Office and Billing Manager for Thankfully Inspired, LLC. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Liberty University and has over 4 years of experience in billing, insurance, and administration. 

Candace has worked in the healthcare industry in locations across the United States, including Oklahoma, North Carolina, and California. She has moved often for her husband's job in the Marine Corps, and she is thrilled to call Hawaii home. 

Candace is hard working, compassionate, and open minded. She understands our patients' families' struggles as a military spouse and the mother of two children who have received speech-language, feeding, and physical therapy services. With this firsthand experience, she is passionate about working to help other families receive this critical care. 

When she's not working, Candace enjoys exploring the beauty of Hawaii. She enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, hunting for seashells, and visiting the beach with her family.

Jazmine 

Meet Jazmine, a bilingual certified Speech Language Pathologist with a deep passion for promoting language development and literacy in children. With over 14 years of experience working with toddlers to adolescents, Jazmine has evaluated and treated children with a wide range of delays and disorders, including articulation, auditory processing, augmentative communication, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and reading.

Jazmine's love for language and literacy shines through in her work across multiple settings such as schools, homes, and private practices. She believes that communication and literacy are fundamental to a child's success, and she's dedicated her career to ensuring that children have the tools they need to communicate effectively and read with confidence.

She knows that children's learning and development are interconnected and uses a holistic approach to help her clients reach their full potential.

 

As a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, Jazmine has a special appreciation for the importance of language in a child's life. She's evaluated and treated bilingual children in their native language and has worked closely with families to provide guidance on how to promote speech and language growth at home.

Jazmine's approach is not just professional - it's also creative and engaging. She has developed innovative techniques and strategies to foster children's learning, making the sessions more enjoyable. Her love for education is evident as she is a certified facilitator of the Language! Program.

In her free time, Jazmine loves nothing more than spending time with her family and going for a nice long hike.  She believes that a love of reading starts early and strives to instill that passion in every child she works with.

Jordyn Sheriff, M.S., CCC-SLP

Introducing Jordyn, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist and new mom with a passion for helping children reach their full potential. Jordyn earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania, where she also served as a research assistant. Her research findings have been presented at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's national convention in both 2016 and 2017.

 

While at Misericordia, Jordyn was also a member of the cross-country and track-and-field teams, showcasing her drive and commitment to excellence. Jordyn has worked with pediatrics in the school and private practice setting for over 5 years, applying her knowledge and expertise to improve children's speech and language abilities. Before her career in speech-language pathology, Jordyn worked as a day camp counselor and swim lesson instructor gaining valuable experience in working with children in a fun and engaging way.

 

Jordyn's special interests in speech-language pathology include play-based therapy, literacy-based intervention, gestalt language processing, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. In addition to her impressive qualifications, Jordyn is also trained in orofacial myofunctional disorders and treatment. This knowledge and skillset allows her to provide comprehensive care to children with a range of speech and language disorders.

 

As a new mom, Jordyn understands the importance of building strong relationships with her clients and their families, and is dedicated to providing person-centered and evidence-based interventions to help children thrive. When Jordyn is not working, she enjoys staying active with activities such as running, paddle boarding, and hiking. She also loves spending quality time with her friends and family, including her new bundle of joy!
